Lessons for 2025

An experienced bridge teacher conducts Beginners Lessons in contract bridge bidding, play and defence, for those who want to learn this interesting game, or to refresh their bridge knowledge.

There are 10 lessons starting on Wednesday 29th January and continuing until 2nd April. These sessions are held at our clubroom (USC Cricket Club, 176 Ballinger Rd, Buderim) each
Wednesday from 8:30am to 11:00am.

Following completion of the Beginners Lessons, the Buderim Contract Bridge Club arranges 6 Supervised Play Sessions, starting 9th April and continuing until 7th May.

These sessions are aimed at developing confidence in bidding, play and defence for those who have attended the Beginners Lessons. At the Supervised Play Sessions, those
who have attended the Beginners Lessons bid, play and defend a series of computer dealt hands with assistance as required. The correct bidding, selection of the opening
lead and play and defence of each hand as used by advanced players, are then analysed and discussed. The resultant outcomes of each hand are then compared to the
possible contracts that could be achieved, as determined by computer.

These sessions are held at our clubroom (USC Cricket Club, 176 Ballinger Rd, Buderim) each Wednesday from 08:30 am to 11:00 am.
